A custom wedding dress, made to your measurements, no fitting appointment

Choose a gown, send ten measurements, and we sew it for you in 8–10 weeks. Full coverage, fully lined, hijab with most gowns. Any size, because every gown can be cut to your measurements.

Why we cut wedding dresses to measure

A size-10 sample gown is cut for a size-10 body that doesn't exist. Every bride who buys one pays a tailor to move it toward her own, and for a modest gown that usually means a second round: raising a neckline, closing a back, lining a sleeve. By the time it fits and it's covered, it has been altered by someone who has never dressed a bride in hijab.

We skip all of that. Every Halal Bridal gown can be cut from your measurements, with the neckline, sleeves and lining already where a modest bride needs them. The gown that arrives is the gown you ordered, in your dimensions, ready to wear. Nothing to raise, nothing to close, nothing to line.

How it works

1. Choose your gown. Browse the collection. Every dress is available made to measure; most are also available in standard sizes XS–XXL if you'd rather.

2. Take ten measurements. Neck to shoulder, shoulder width, sleeve length, shoulder to floor, wrist, upper arm, waist, shoulder to waist, bust and chest, plus your height, weight and the heel height you'll wear. A soft tape, fitted undergarments, and a friend to hold the other end. The order form shows a photo for each one; the measuring guide has the full walkthrough. If you're between two numbers, take the larger.

3. We sew to your numbers. Your measurements go straight to the seamstress who will make the gown, and the dress is cut to exactly those dimensions. So measure carefully, and email us before you order if anything is unclear. Then production begins: 8–10 weeks standard, 4–6 express, as fast as 3 weeks on a rush order.

4. It arrives ready to wear. Gown, hoop skirt, and with most gowns a matching hijab, plus a veil with most of the white gowns; each product page lists what's included. Packed for the journey. Free standard shipping in the US. We also ship to Canada, Australia, the UK and 15 other countries in Europe; outside the US, any import duties or VAT are paid to the courier on delivery.

How much does a custom-made wedding dress cost?

Less than you've been told. Custom gowns from a bridal designer start around $3,000 and climb quickly; ours start at $499.

  • $499–$1,220: Rana, Dua, Khadija, Dina, Fatima, Beyda, Bushra, Selma, Betul, Beyza, Amani. Lighter silhouettes, cape details, hand-beaded embroidery. The nikkah, engagement and henna-night tier, and the gowns brides wear again.
  • $1,600–$2,200: the main bridal collection: satin, chiffon and lace gowns with jeweled embellishment, in white, ivory, red, green, gold, pink and navy.
  • $2,500–$2,800: Izza and Aleena, the most elaborate gowns we make.

Every price includes custom sizing. There is no upcharge for measurements, no upcharge for size, and no alteration bill after.

Is $2,000 reasonable for a wedding dress? For a gown that is sewn for one person, lined, covered, and in most cases delivered with its matching hijab, it is the whole cost, not the starting point. The average boutique gown costs about that before alterations, and it was cut for someone else.

Want something we don't make yet?

Send us 2–5 photos of gowns or details you love. We'll get back to you on whether we can make it, send you a quote and a timeline, and begin once the deposit is paid. Timelines and shipping for a fully custom design depend on its complexity, so start this conversation early.

Questions brides ask before ordering

What if I measure wrong? Measure twice, and take the larger number if you're between two. The gown is made to the exact numbers you submit, so if you'd like to be certain, a local tailor will take the ten measurements in fifteen minutes.

What if it doesn't fit when it arrives? Contact us as soon as you try it on. We'll go through your measurements and the fit together and work out the best solution. Gowns are made to the numbers you send, so the closer they are, the closer the fit.

Do you make plus sizes? Yes. Every gown can be cut from your measurements, whatever they are; a 22 and a 2 go through exactly the same process and cost exactly the same.

Can I return it? Made-to-order gowns are final sale; there is no one else they would fit. If your gown arrives with a defect or we've made an error, tell us within 48 hours and we'll put it right. Items marked Ready to Ship can be returned within 7 days.

How long do I really need? Standard production is 8–10 weeks; add shipping and a week for your own peace of mind, so order about three months before the wedding. Express (4–6 weeks) and rush (from 3 weeks) exist for the brides who can't.

Is my information private? Your measurements are used to make your dress and for nothing else.
